Arsenal set to take on Stoke

Arsenal will continue their run towards picking up an automatic Champions League berth, as they take on Stoke City on Saturday. Arsenal have won just two of their last five matches and are in a bit of a slump, which is allowing Newcastle United a glimpse of hope.

Arsenal are the favorite over Stoke City in this game, despite their recent plague of injuries. Mikel Arteta and Theo Walcott have missed some action as of late, and will again on Saturday. Arteta, from Spain has been a huge loss for the offense. Robin van Persie has struggled to score as of late for Arsenal, but still leads the Premier League with 27 goals, despite scoring just 1 in his last 7 matches.

Despite the problems for Arsenal, they still should be able to get by Stoke. Stoke took a 3-0 loss to Newcastle in their last match. They have struggled as of late, winning just one of their last eight matches. They have dropped to 14th and do not look to be heading to the postseason. Stoke City is led by Tony Pulis.

Stoke is without Salif Diao and Mamady Sidibe. Jonathan Walters is coming into the match with a bit of a chip on his shoulders after missing several chances in the loss to Newcastle.
